Is this the end for John Crane?
When elephants fight, it’s the grass that gets trampled.
Every two years, the global elites come together at the Amersfoort Conference to plot the world’s future. This year’s conference is at a luxurious hotel, deep in the Canadian Rockies, isolated from prying eyes. Crane and Josh are there to observe. Who’s talking to whom? What kind of plans are being laid? Crane expects a few days of relatively dull people watching and panel discussions.
That’s not what he gets…
Someone has a list of attendees divided into two groups: those to be protected, and those to be eliminated. Members of the hotel staff aren’t what they appear to be. And for a high-security venue, there’s an awful lot of weaponry floating around. Cut off from outside help and hounded by heavily armed mercenaries, Josh and Crane find themselves in a desperate battle for survival. Their only hope is to keep moving, keep fighting, keep one step ahead of their enemies. Their only chance is to somehow stay alive long enough to run out the clock.
